Should I delete my temp files, is there any thing in there that I need to keep my computer running normally ?

General Disclaimer - Happy Online would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work on some computers and may result in errors - you should only make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any consequences that may arise.

Deleting Temporary files should not cause you any problem - unless your PC is seriously messed up. In fact the disk clean up tool available in most versions of windows (Try accessing this under Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools - although it may be located elsewhere on your PC) gives you the option to delete Temporary Files.

If you are worried about deleting the files then create a back up of the files you want to delete somewhere else on your PC - if you do need to go back to the files then they will be available from your back up - if it turns out that your PC operates succesfully without them then you can delete the backed up files aswell.
