How do I access Temporary Internet Files ?

General Disclaimer - Happy Online would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work on some computers and may result in errors - you should only make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any consequences that may arise.

Temporary Internet Files can be accessed through Windows Explorer, the files are normally (but not always) stored in a folder called Temporary Internet Files on the computers C drive under the Windows folder.

However for a quick short cut to the Temporary Internet Files in Microsoft Internet Explorer if you select the Tools drop down menu at the top of the browser window followed by Internet Options a window will open.

Under the General Tab of this window is the Temporary Internet Files section - if you then select the settings option another window appears with the option to view the files. Select this option and the Temporary Internet Files will be displayed.
