on some computers and may result in errors - you should only
make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any
consequences that may arise. In the Temporary Internet Files, depending on your how you
have set up your view options, you may see three dates headed
"Last Modified", "Last Accessed" and "Last
Checked".
The "Last Modified" date is when the file was last
written to, this date will often be the date that the file was
created or changed and then published on the website.
The "Last Accessed" date is when the file was last
accessed by your browser.
The "Last Checked" date is the last time the browser
checked to see if a newer version of the file was available
- In Internet Explorer you can change the settings of when the
browser checks for newer versions of files by selecting the
Tools drop down menu followed by Internet Options - under the
Settings option of the Temporary Internet Files is the option
to change the settings for checking for newer versions of stored
pages.
