I recently had Windows 98 re-installed along with Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. When clicking on Explore then Temporay Internet Files the only file shows up is Content EI5 and desktop ini. How do I set my computer to show all my Temporay Internet Files like they did prior having the re-installs?

would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible
for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work
on some computers and may result in errors - you should only
make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any
consequences that may arise. Without seeing your computer this is a hard one to figure out.
But I suggest doing the following two things to help resolve
your problem.
Firstly, ensure that hidden files are displayed - from Windows
Explorer this can be achieved by selecting the Tools drop down
menu when you are in Windows Explorer followed by the Folder
Options. From the window that appears select the View Tab and
then locate the Hidden Files setting - from here you can choose
the option to display hidden files and folders - this may resolve
your problem, however it is unlikely that Temporary Internet
Files will be set as hidden.
Secondly, check to see where the Temporary Interent Files are
being saved to, this can be done by selecting the Tools Drop
down menu from the Internet Explorer window followed by the
settings option under the Temporary Internet Files section.
In the window that appears you should be able to see the location
that the temporary internet files are being saved to - if this
is not the location that you are looking in when you are going
to Windows Explorer you can change the location from this menu.
