Whatever you view on the Internet is likely to show in your history and/or your temporary internet files. With Pop-up windows most users will try to close the window on launch, however whatever manages to load in the window is likely to show in the temporary internet files - i.e. if a window appears with various images being downloaded and you close this window before all the images are downloaded then it is likely that the downloaded images will appear in your temporary internet files but not the ones that did not have time to download.

To view how to delete various aspects of the history and temporary internet files that your PC stores visit the Recent Question and the Archived Questions sections of this tutorial.

One option for users who suffer from Pop-up windows is to get a Pop-up blocker. The Google toolbar currently has a Pop-up blocker as one of its features and can be downloaded from http://toolbar.google.com/
