The internet enables you to listen to Radio broadcast from through out the world.

To listen to Radio stations on the Internet you will need to select the Radio toolbar in your web browser. In Internet Explorer if the Radio toolbar is not already displayed you will need to select the view menu at the top of the browser window, if you then highlight toolbars and then select the radio option the Radio toolbar will appear.

On the Radio toobar select the Radio Stations drop down menu and then select the Radio Station Guide - you will then be taken to the windowmedia website where a list of Radio stations will appear. (It then may be necessary for you to choose your country - however the Windowmedia website is normally intelligent enough to detect which country you are from).

From the Windowmedia website you are able to choose a Radio Station from the available lists or perform a search for your favorite station or genre. Once you have selected your station you can add the station to your selected Radio stations for future listening, visit the Radio stations website or simply listen to the station. The Radio will probably play in Windows Media Player and you can continue browsing the Internet while having the sounds of the Radio in the background.

The quality of the reception will depend on your internet connection, the radio station and the amount of resources your computer can devout to the broadcast. (You will find that if you are downloading large files from the Internet or have a large number of programs running the broadcast will be affected.)
