Where is the history of websites located on my computer ?

Your website history is located in lots of different places on your computer, some of these records are explained below.

To view the History of Websites visited on your computer select the History Icon from the browser window, this will enable you to view previously visited websites.

Website History or Files are also visible from the Temporary Internet Folder and Website Cookies are held in a Cookies folder, both of these folders are normally under the windows directory on your hard drive.

Internet Files will also be retained under the recent documents list accessed from the start menu and obviously the Recycle Bin if files have been deleted to there.

History is also retained in .dat files. (.dat files are essential files on your PC that you should not attempt to amend or delete - it is possible to buy/download software that delete history from .dat folders.)
