What does location mean - does it mean the place you are at ?

Thanks for your question, I hope I can understand it - but if you wish to clarify please do so.....

I would say that location means where you are. Although unfortunately you have not stated what context the term has been used in, I am assuming that as part of the Happy Online site deals with Internet/Chat Room and Email Terminology you have probably been asked your location in a chat room.

Asking someones location is common in a chat room and is often one of the first question a fellow chatter would ask when trying to find a bit of information about you. Obviously giving your exact location details to someone you do not know is not a good idea or recommended, most people would probably say what City or Town they are in.
