What is advantages of internet in the youth ?

One of the biggest advantages of the Internet for the youth (and everyone) is the amount of information that it contains. The Internet can therefore be seen as a huge reference library and young people can therefore use the Internet to help them study for exams or help with homework. (Unfortunately, sometimes the Internet can make homework to easy !).

Obviously, the Interent is a great place for shops and recreation for young people and the benefits of the Internet that everyone enjoys almost always extends to the youth aswell.

Some other benefits of the Internet for youth:-

- It gets them using computers early - nowadays the majority of jobs relys upon employees using computers and using the Internet can be good experience.

- As the Internet is still largely text based it increase the amount of time young people spend reading - If a young person does not read newspapers or books then the Internet may be the only thing they read in their free time.

- It may improve communication skills. (Although many may say that due to the amount of abbreviation, Internet Speak, that communication skills may be getting worse.)

- The Internet is world wide and therefore young people are introduced to other cultures and beliefts.
