Where is my history button ?

General Disclaimer - Happy Online would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work on some computers and may result in errors - you should only make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any consequences that may arise.

In Internet Explorer the History Button should be a default button on the Standard Buttons Toolbar. Ensure the Standard Buttons Toolbar is displayed by selecting the View Option at the top of the browser window followed by Toolbars - if there is a tick next to "Standard Buttons" then it should be displayed - if not left click on the "Standard Buttons" text and the toolbar will be enabled/displayed.

On this toolbar look for one of the following images which represent the History Button:-

If you can not see either of the above icons then select the View Drop down menu followed by Toolbars and select the customize option. From the window that appears you are able to customize the buttons available - from here you can therefore make the History button available if it is not already.

For your information, you do not have to access the History by selecting the button - you can access it by select the View Drop down menu followed by Explorer Bar and then the History option.
