I would like to view the sites visited on my computer starting the month on August 2003.

The best way to view websites previously visited on your computer is to access the history folder. For details on how to do this please visit the following question that was asked on 15th July:-

However the website History is normally set to go back 20 days (you can however change this level should you require) or the site History may have been cleared.

For a suggestion on how to retrieve websites that have been visited but are to old to appear in the History folder why not try a file search on your hard drive.

When doing a file search on your PC you will have the option to search for files that have been accessed after a certain date (This maybe under the advanced options). So for the above query it maybe worth trying to search for files that have been accessed since 01/08/03.

In addition to searching for files in a date period you should be able to search for a file type - most websites you visit will have the file type of HTML document.

I therefore suggest that a way to locate websites that you have visited since a certain date would be to do a file search on your PC limiting the paramaters to after a certain date and HTML documents.

Hopefully you should be able to find what you are looking for - however if the file has been deleted you may be unsuccesful.
