I cannot delete 2 or 3 favorites that were put there automatically when I restart my computer they show up again, same thing with the homepage !

General Disclaimer - Happy Online would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work on some computers and may result in errors - you should only make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any consequences that may arise.

Anything that tries to put itself automatically on to your system sounds like Spyware and we will deal with that later.

First off though, there is at least three different ways you can delete favorites (listed below), it might be worth trying them all to see if they get rid of your problem.

You can delete favorites by selecting the favorites drop down menu followed by organize favorites - in the organize favorites window that appears you can select the favorites you wish to delete.

You should also be able to right click on each favorite from the favorites drop down menu and select delete.

You can also delete favorites from Windows Explorer in the favorites folder.

As you have stated that the favorites show up again when you restart your computer and that you also have an issue with your home page it sounds like you have may have Spyware on your PC. The best way to deal with Spyware is to search for software that deletes and removes Spyware in your favorite Search Engine.
