Is it safe to delete files from Disk Cleanup tool such as Temporary Internet Files, If I choose the View Files button and manually select all the file and delete them?

General Disclaimer - Happy Online would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work on some computers and may result in errors - you should only make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any consequences that may arise.

This should not be a problem at all, the Disk Cleanup Tool basically provides a short cut to deleting these files anyway.

In fact you may prefer to manually do this as you can see exactly what files you are deleting - there maybe some Temporary Internet Files you wish to keep. The only thing you may find is that if you have a lot of information within the Temporary Interenet Files then your PC may slow down considerably when opening up the Temporary Internet Folder.

In adittion most people have the Temporary Internet Files set so they delete to the Recycle Bin - if you delete them manually they would delete to the Recycle Bin, and you would therefore need to delete them from there aswell. Deleting them in Disk Cleanup normally deletes files in the Recycle Bin aswell (Depending on your selection).
