More Information on Deleting Address in the Address Bar

We have recieved feedback from a number of visitors who are still having problems deleting web address from the address bar.

In Internet Explorer the best way to delete web addresses from the address bar is by selecting the Tools drop down menu followed by Internet Options. A new window appears and under the General Tab of this window is the "History" sub section - if you select the "Clear History" button then the web addresses should no longer appear in the address bar.

If this method does not work then try looking at some of the following related questions:-

I want to delete an address in the address bar but dont have access to Internet Options - Can this be done ?

In Internet Explorer how can I stop forms auto completing ? - a related question

How can I find a list of all the web sites my computer ever visited ? - a related question

If you still have problems deleting web addresses from the address bar then it maybe worthwhile looking for software that clears your browser history.
