The items, "view, favorites, and tools" are not on my menu bar. How do i get them back? I have file, edit, mail, community, services, window, keyword, sign off, and help..

General Disclaimer - Happy Online would like to remind all visitors that they are responsible for their own computer settings - some suggestions may not work on some computers and may result in errors - you should only make changes to your computer if you are comfortable with any consequences that may arise.

This is because you have an AOL Browser. The items of View, Favorites and Tools in the menu bar refer to Internet Explorer. (The Happy Online Tutorial is aimed mainly at Internet Explorer users so you may have seen reference to these items on another page of this tutorial).

However, most of the functions contained in the View, Favorites and Tools menu in Internet Explorer can be found in the AOL Browser.

For example for the View drop down menu in Internet Explorer look at the Window menu in AOL, for the Favorites drop down menu in AOL there is a folder with a heart symbol and most of the functions under the Tools drop down menu in Internet Explorer can be found under My AOL. (Although most of the functions will be there AOL has different names and methods of performing the same tasks.)
