I have lost my address bar - what should I do ?

If you have lost access to your address bar it is likely to be one of two issues.

Firstly, it could be that the address bar is just not displayed anymore, to display the address bar again simply select the View drop down menu at the top of the Internet Explorer window followed by the Toolbars option - a further menu will appear which displays the toolbars that you have - the toolbars that are currently selected and therefore currently viewable will show a tick beside the toolbars name - by selecting each option you can turn on/off the toolbar(s).

The second problem may be that the toolbar is not visible as it is hidden by another toolbar - this can be resolved by moving the toolbars. You can move the toolbars by moving your mouse over the toolbar pick up points (the vertical line at the left of each toolbar), once over the pick up points hold down the left mouse button and drag the toolbar that you have selected - this can be a fiddly operation, however you may find that the address bar will appear once you have moved some toolbars.
