with the Coal Mines closing has had to re-invent itself
as a local centre for Welsh people.

Out and About in and around Swansea
Much of Swansea has been redeveloped since the second
world war.
Swansea Bay is still home to a fishing industry and visitors
can relax in the friendly atmosphere.
Further to the west of Swansea is the Pembrokeshire Coast
National Park and the city of St Davids where you can
view a fine Cathedral and vast remains of the Bishops
Palace.
