Liverpool, Merseyside is in the North East
of England, UK.

cultural centre with the Beatles leading the Mersey Beat.

in most of the 60s,70s and 80s and is still considered
by many to be the biggest club side in the world.
More recently Liverpool has been awarded
European City of Culture status.

the Beatles and Art Galleries.
You can take a Ferry Trip accross the Mersey or go through
the Mersey Tunnel.
Visitors should appreciate the vast docks that for so
many people in the past would have been there last glimpse
of England before venturing out for a new life in the
Americas.
A short car journey away takes you to the City of Manchester,
Further up the coast takes you to the Coastal resort,
popular with Liverpudlians, of Blackpool.
