Constructed of stainless steel: its 1300W output and solenoid valve heat the water quickly: while the 15 bar pressure and brass filter holder ensure the maximum flavour of the coffee is extracted. Achille Gaggia filed the patent for the first professional coffee machine in 1938. His idea was to force water under pressure to flow over ground coffee and produce espresso. The steam generated is used for frothing milk.
